Our sizing is true to size. However, if you are interested in wearing our styles while pregnant, please note that we aren't a traditional maternity brand and every body grows differently during pregnancy.
Depending on your body and how you’re carrying, certain styles may feel a bit more snug during the last 2–3 weeks of your pregnancy. If you’re concerned about extra room at the very end, we recommend sizing up for added comfort. Otherwise we recommend ordering your pre-pregnancy size so you can enjoy your pieces well after pregnancy.

Highly recommend! Lo + Jayne is by far my favorite maternity brand, and I'm looking forward to wearing the clothes postpartum. This dress is simple yet chic with lovely fabric. It made me feel confident when other maternity clothes did not. I enjoyed wearing it either on its own or with the coordinating crop. I only wish I had found this dress sooner!

Love love love this material and the luxurious feel when I wear it. I’ve been so uncomfortable as I’ve gained a lot of weight during my pregnancy and was shocked that I fit into this dress because when I received it I thought it just looked like a regular slip dress! The fabric has a slight stretch to it so it really melts over ur bump. So pretty! I have def been wearing it with the matching crop too when i go into work. Excited it to wear it after pregnancy too when i nurse because of the nursing feature which I love that it isn’t noticeable!!
I absolutely love this dress. Whether pregnant or not, it’s one of the few pieces that makes me feel good — even when I’m not feeling my best. Early in my pregnancy, I found that my silk slip dresses quickly became too tight. Despite advice to buy cheap clothes because they’d just get discarded after pregnancy, I decided to invest in quality, which is how I typically buy clothing.
At 22 weeks, I tragically lost my baby. My pre-pregnancy clothes didn’t fit, and neither did most of my maternity wear. This dress (along with the maternity luxe skirt) helped me feel dignified and put-together when I needed to face the world. It offered comfort, style, and grace when I needed it most.

Such a comfortable and flattering dress! Perfect for layering under sweaters during the colder months too. This made me feel human again after feeling stuck in sweats/leggings for way too long!
Get the dress. As a NYC mom, my closet space is limited so I’m super selective on what I buy and this piece I’ve been able to wear a ton of different ways (and it’ll be useful after baby arrives)! Nice plus is my husband is obsessed with me every time he sees me in it! My only complaint is not having it in other colors 😩

All I can say is WOW! When I opened my package and saw the dress, I could tell the fabric was elegant but it looked so sleek and small and thought that there is no way this dress would fit me while 9 months pregnant but it actually did and it looked so flattering I was shocked. The nursing feature for the removable straps is so unnoticeable and genius! I’m excited to dress this up but also style it more casually so I can wear this day to day. Really impressed.
